POETRY

Poetry first came to my attention

when I was 16 years of age,

visiting a theatre play with my class

as a part of art education.

I fell head over heels in love.

 

Then during my adolescence,

up until adulthood, it became my trusted accomplice in the face of harsh realities, triumphs, obstacles, highs and lows.

 

From the first attempts in my native language

to more sophisticated pieces,

I eventually settled on writing in English.
