DUBLIN
Blissfully walking the streets that once
were strolled by Samuel Becket,
James Joyce or Oscar Wilde;
the same streets were now filled with
the echoes sounding off their typewriters
tucked away neatly beneath the melodies
of Irish trad and Whiskey in the bar.
Its nights savoured the punch of salty rain, pungent black nectar and sacrament. “Something” was brewing in the air.
